Complete joke gave me strict privacy rules to follow but would think nothing of walking into my room or anywhere where people were present discussing my medical records. Please teach your kitchen staff to cook also.

Most of the staff was very diligent however there was staff that openly abused patients and this was regularly swept under the carpet by senior Nursing Staff. Nursing staff supplied by employment agencies had no experience dealing with mental health patients. I was personally Told depressed people are a waist of space and hospitalization was a waist of money. Senior staff again swept that under the carpet. On 2 separate occasions staff mixed up medications supplying me medication belonging to another patient. All in all the trained mental heath staff and councilors are very good at there job. Out patient group programs are beneficial. There was no follow up care apart from if one made the effort to attend a weekly group but there was no genuine care if you attended or not. There are better facilities in Sydney and Wollongong with Senior staff that are genuinely interested in mental heath of everyone not just the wealthy.

I really at the end of the day couldn't get past the blatant privacy breaches pertaining to why I was there when I was explicitly told not to talk about why anyone else was there.Never again will I go to this unprofessional excuse for a hospital (if that is what you would loosely call it).
