Had an incredibly unpleasant experience with a obnoxiously rude police officer who thought he was the most important knobhead in the world after I was dealing with a frightening encounter from a stranger. There were two officers at the door one of them didn't say anything (Probably didn't want his reputation damaged if he did) and the other guy was incredibly rude to me, discriminative and didn't care. He handled the situation in a very unprofessional manner as if he was a child having tantrums about not wanting to do his job. Part of being a police officer is helping the community and letting them know about reporting crimes. This man made me feel more vulnerable and was very disrespectful towards me and my property. He didn't need to smash his hands against the door to knock and let me know they're there, we have a doorbell it is right next to it. He could have damaged the door. I complained to a lot of people to the police force at the Station (He didn't take my threat of complaining so seriously) and we found the guy and discovered that he was a Junior officer. The complaints were handled well and professionally, just a shame the service isn't. Maybe guys like this want to give their company a bad name but thank you Inspector Matthew and the Supervisor for tracking this guy down for me and understanding his unprofessional behaviour, he has now been put on some sort of Complaints blacklist so i'm satisfied with the outcome. Police may have higher standards but they still have their own rules to follow and shouldn't be treated as different, they are all regular people too. Even when I complained back at the PAL the nice lady said he may have violated a few of my rights here.

I've observed and dealt with a lot of police officers before from different areas, more in the western and south-western side of Sydney where it's a little more rougher. But I was very pleased dealing with Senior Constable Sherrie Ward when reporting lost property.

I have been 4x rejected when I wanted to have my fingerprints taken for Security Licence, always excuses why not and lies they are not doing, than they can't do it, than not today,... And I have been pushing go to Hurstville all the time.

I've dealt with police officers before, and most of them had given an aggressive and unsympathetic impression, which really isn't an effective approach in a position of authority. Sherrie Ward's approach in her position of authority is definitely the kind of work ethic others should look up to.

I told them why I should go to Hurstville when I'm here... Again I should go to Hurstville...

It's like they've completely given up on policing in Arncliffe altogether. Night after night hoons fly up Wollongong Rd & back streets completely unabated. A matter of time before an innocent person/family is killed by these hoons. Do something.

She has a very calming presence, and it probably helps that she has a pretty face too ;). She was able to be very informative and supportive as much as possible.

I haven't, and don't think I'll ever retrieve my lost property, but I must say the way she offered advice on several ways to further pursue my search for my stolen goods was very helpful, mature, and professional.
